{"id":13,"date":"2026-09-28T16:49:38","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T16:49:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bergadventures.co.za\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2026-09-29T12:55:29","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T12:55:29","slug":"who-we-are","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bergadventures.co.za\/?page_id=13","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berg Adventures was established\u00a0 in 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our main aim is to share the love of the Drakensberg and hiking with like-minded people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berg Adventures offers professional guiding in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Okhahlamba Drakensberg Mountain Range and KZN Midlands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trips are usually multi-day hikes into the High Berg or could be just an overnight trip for first time hikers wanting to experience hiking for the first time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have a range of standard trips to choose from or we can tailor make a bespoke hiking adventure to suit your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be assured that you are in very capable hands during your trip into the Drakensberg as I hold the following qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registered with the National Department of Tourism (KZN 1945).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MDT (Mountain Development and Training Trust) accredited for advanced mountain walking leadership (1611)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Level 3 First Aid with Wilderness first aid. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Berg Adventures was established\u00a0 in 2015.
